If someone sent you their list
Will they know it was me?
No. The person who made the list never sees who's getting what. Other visitors only see that something is taken. If you leave your name when you reserve, only Wish keeps it.
I tapped the wrong thing, or changed my mind
Open the list again on the same phone and browser, tap the gift, and choose Undo. It becomes available for others again.
The undo button only appears in the browser you reserved from. That's how Wish knows it was you, without an account.
I already got it
Tap the gift and choose "Already got it". It stays taken, and the owner still won't see who.
Do I need the app or an account?
No. Shared lists work in any browser, and reserving doesn't need an account.
The link says the list isn't available
The owner may have stopped sharing it or replaced the link. Ask them for the new one.
If you use Wish
How do I share a list?
Open the list, tap the list options, then Share. Send the link however you like: Messages, WhatsApp, email.
Can I see who's getting what?
No, and that's on purpose: it keeps the surprise. To see your list the way others do, use "Preview without spoilers" in the list options.
How do I stop sharing a list?
In the list options, choose Stop sharing, or Reset link to give people a new one. The old link stops working right away.
How does saving from a screenshot work?
Tap +, then "Screenshots and photos" (or Camera), and pick a picture. Wish finds the things in it on your phone, and you choose the ones you want.
If you allow identification, Wish sends a crop of just those objects to find out what they are. Your full picture never leaves your phone. If you don't allow it, your saves stay as photos. You can change this in Profile, under "Identify things in photos".
How do I delete my data?
You can delete any item or list in the app. To delete everything, delete your account in the app, or write to us.
